Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Trellis mobile application (the “App”) provided by The Trellis ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App.

Trellis is an invite-only platform. You may only create an account if you have received a valid invitation code sent by us to your registered email address.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Trellis. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. All users are verified and traceable within the system. Trellis does not allow anonymous access or usage.

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you provide false information or violate any terms herein.

Trellis allows users to post, comment, and message others within the App. By submitting content, you agree that:

• You own the rights to the content or have permission to post it.
• Your content will not violate any laws or community standards.
• Your content may be moderated, removed, or restricted by us without notice if it violates our Community Guidelines.

By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and moderate your content solely for the operation of the App.

You agree to use the App responsibly and respectfully. You must not:

• Post or transmit any content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Use the App to impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Harass or intimidate other users through chat or other features.
• Attempt to circumvent the invite-only system or access features you’re not authorized to use.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App.

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban, at our sole discretion.

Users may report other users or content that violates our policies through in-app reporting tools. We review all reports and take enforcement actions such as:

• Content moderation or removal
• Account warnings or suspensions
• Permanent bans for repeated or severe violations

Users can also block other users to prevent unwanted interaction.

Trellis allows private 1:1 messaging between users who have completed their profiles. We store messages only for moderation and reporting purposes. If chat content is reported, our moderation team may review it for safety enforcement.

All content and software within the App, unless provided by users, is the property of The Trellis and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, modify, or reverse-engineer the App or its components.
• Use the App or its content for commercial purposes without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.

You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting your account will result in the removal or anonymization of your data, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Trellis is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to provide a safe and positive experience, we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.
• That all content posted by users is accurate, safe, or legal.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New York, US. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via in-app notices or email. Continued use of the App after changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
